Hours to receive STAFF-ASSISTED services at the America’s Job Center Employment Resource Centers will be on the days as follows:

CHANGE IN HOURS FOR THE WILLOWS SITE:  Beginning Monday, 7/07/14, Staff Assisted hours will change and become:

Monday & Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Tuesday & Thursday, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

CHANGE IN HOURS FOR THE ORLAND SITE:  

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. & 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.

The Glenn County America’s Job Center has been awarded a small grant to assist VETERAN’S

in moving quickly from military life into high-wage jobs and civilian careers.

This project will focus on training veterans for careers in the following industries: 

(1) Healthcare, (2) Protective Services, (3) Installation/Maintenance, and (4) Production and Transportation  

The Glenn County America’s Job Center will be able to serve veterans who have service-connected disabilities; campaign veterans; veterans with significant barriers; as well as eligible spouses and recently-separated veterans.

Recently-separated veterans will be a high priority for this project. This group is most in need of identifying transferable skills, re-training into civilian occupation areas, and assistance with job attainment and retention.
